The antecedence of the band Queen was a group called Smile, with members Roger Taylor, Brian May and a chap called Tim Staffel (left)Smile  were a short-lived act, recording the single Earth, which was released in the USA but failed to sell.

Smile played a few local gigs in London, and on 27 June 1970 had been booked to play a charity

Chris Isaak was a standout at high school; class president for three years running, Student Body President in his graduating year, class valedictorian, and head of the all male cheering squad!

He recorded his first album (Silvertone) in 1984, and had two songs from it featured on the soundtrack to David Lynch's cult classic movie Blue Velvet.

Michael started his musical career as a DJ, before starting his first band, a short-lived ska group called The Executive,in cahoots with Paul Ridgely.

Mick_Fleetwood.jpg Michael "Mick" Fleetwood is the British musician best known for his role as drummer and co-founder of Fleetwood Mac; he's the "Fleetwood" to John McVie's "Mac" in the band's name.

Encouraged by his family - his father was a drummer - Fleetwood took up the drums at an early age, and in 1963 dropped out of school to pursue a career in music.
