Don't miss the top 20 from this week in 1980 - when our Aussie athletes were preparing to head to Moscow for the olympic games...

Well - not all our athletes were going... Australia didn't officially compete - joining the US lead boycott of the games... but 120 Australians did go - competing under the olympic banner... we came 9th with 3 gold...

Also on our trip back to late June 1980 - we'll remember the start of this tv game show..

And it was a big week for musicals... both of these hit movies premiered in late June 1980..

We'll remember "Cocoon" in our trip back to late June 1985..

And in late June 1985 - New South Wales finally got their hands on the State Of Origin shield!

Lead by inspirational skipper Steve Mortimer - NSW won the first 2 games of the '85 series.. but lost the last game played at Lang Park during this week... That's where the shield was handed over to the blues for the first time.
