14 July: Celebrating Bob Casale from Devo

Born on this day in 1952, Bob Casale trained as a medical radition technologist, but when brother Gerald asked him to join Devo as a guitarist in 1973 a new career path opened up.

The Casale brothers, along with brothers Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh and Alan Myles, formed the most popular incarnation of the band from 1973 through to 1991.
