During our journey back to 1982... we'll remember when times were beserk for this Aussie band..

And we'll pay tribute to the TV show that ended way too soon.... in fact, it's often voted as one of the tv shows that was cancelled too early... but that's ok... it had another life on the big screen as "Naked Gun... Files From Police Squad"

 

Plus there's a special tribute to Martin Crowe who passed away recently...

HI it's Aaron... join me for a trip back to early March 1986..The week when this movie hit the cinemas..

 

It was also the week that former Skyhooks guitarist signed on to join "Hey Hey It's Saturday"..Red joined as a member of the show band - and was given his own segment...

And do you remember the tv show "Remington Steele"?

It was actually cancelled during this week in 1986 - and the star - Pierce Brosnan - agreed to become the next 007.. all that went pear shaped when "Remington Steele" was re-instated - and Pierce had to wait another 10 years before he got to say the words.... "Bond... James Bond"

We'll also hear an instrument that was - instrumental - in the naming of a great 80's band..and we'll discover which David Bowie hit inspired Simple Minds..
