Turning back the 20 20 Retro Countdown clock to late July 1978 - when Australia was leading the way in converting from black and white to colour TV's... by '78 65% of Australian homes had a brand new colour television set.... maybe your first one looked something like this...

 

 

On the paper chart at the time was a hit from the musical grease... the one that featured the "New Sandy"... did you know that the tight black outfit that Olivia Newton-John wore in this scene, was kept secret from the entire cast and crew.... when she walked onto the set - noone actually knew who she was..

 

And it was during late July 1978 that the world's first test tube baby was born... Louise Brown!
