21 May: Happy Birthday Leo Sayer

Leo Sayer was born in England in 1948, and began his musical career co-writing songs for the likes of The Who's Roger Daltry.

He released his first single in 1973 and his next seven singles all reached the UK Top 10, including a UK #1 in 1977 with When I Need You.

Sayer moved to Australia in 2005 and became an Australian citizen in 2009.
