Channel Nine Entertainment Reporter Richard Wilkins was born in New Zealand in 1954.

In 1980 Wilkins and his band Wilde & Reckless landed in Australia to tour with Grace Jones. Wilkins stayed behind after the tour and has become one of the most well-known and respected entertainment reporters in Australia, celebrating 25 years in the business
