1 July: Happy Birthday Farnsey!

Born in London in 1949, John Farnham's first commercial success came with the novelty song Sadie, The Cleaning Lady, which spent six weeks at #1 in 1968.

He was crowned Australia's "KIng of Pop" five consecutive times in 1969-1973, during which time he had his second #1 hit, Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head.

In 1975 Farnham hosted the first colour
