Peggy Sue goes even further back in time....we're stopping off at the week when Boom Crash Opera were living up to their potential... and Paul Simon reached number with a song that was inspired by his time in South Africa. We'll also include a memorable tv ad from this week in 1986!

1977gff.jpg Wednesday - Returning to 1977 - returning to the MCG!

Join us as we remember the first ever AFL Grand Final draw and the return to the MCG during this week for the Grand Final replay. Who took out the title? Find out during our trip back to early October 1977. At number 1, there's a hit that held the top spot for 9 weeks - a surprise even to the singer... and we'll remember the british comedy that finished up during this week in 1977!

coolrunnings.jpg Thursday - A Cool trip back to early October 1993...

Yes, we'll visit the week when "Cool Runnings" started at the cinema.. we play a tv ad flashback and play memorable hits from Haddaway and Innercircle... there's the hit that came to Billy Joel in a dream and our number 1 marks a return to the charts - the first hit in 15 years!

freedom.jpg Friday - we set one of our favourite countdowns free!

Earlier in 2017 we put together a collection of songs about free or freedom... it's a personal favourite - and I'm looking forward to rolling it out again... featuring 2 hits from George Michael - bot solo and with Wham! - there's a Rozalla song you probably haven't heard since last time we played the free countdown and there's the number 1 that was bigger than the movie it appeared in!
